Job Description:

1. Collect payments on past due bills.
2. Create a list of people who have not made payments.
3. Organize list according to severity of delinquency.
4. Locate customers using credit bureau information, background checks, loan documents, and other paperwork or databases.
5. Call customers using telephone.
6. Utilize computer systems to handle skip tracing.
7. Inform clients of overdue accounts and amount currently owed.
8. Attempt to collect payment.
9. Review terms of sale or loan documents.
10. Ensure all customer information is correct, including phone numbers and addresses.

Required Skills:

• Highly skilled in collecting on Past Due customer accounts, including resolution of discrepancies
• In-depth knowledge of different collection methods and severance process
• A strong desire to continually elevate the performance of the business as a matter of satisfaction
•  Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Laws.
• Dedicated and meticulous: Able to exceed both external and internal customer expectations
