Job Description:
- Build extensive automation framework for orchestration & setup
- Speed up the environment restore & setup
- Drive efficiencies in engineering & Production Management
- Achieve CI/CD across environment with automation engines.
- Manage SLA & Uptime in Prod
- Experience in Architecting and Developing DevOps enabled solutions.
- Extensive Experience with cloud services (Amazon EC2, OpenStack) elastic capacity administration and cloud deployment and administration
- Unix/Linux experience required
- Experience with configuration and change management, monitoring, and trending.
- Experience including in managing Linux/Unix platforms in these functions; application server administration (Tomcat, JBoss etc.), DNS, Linux system configuration and administration (Cent o/s)
- Good exposure with monitoring tools geared towards user experience and deep diagnostics (Gomez, Apica, Splunk, New Relic, App Dynamics)
- Understanding of automation practices throughout the development, build, and deployment phases of the application life-cycle
- Demonstrated ability to support and administer pre-release and production environments for internal facing applications.
- Extensive Experience on automation frameworks like Chef/Puppet/Ansible.
- Experience with one or more Unix shell scripting languages (Bash,)
- Fluent with a high-level scripting language (preferably Ruby)
- Experience with build management and continuous integration tools (Bamboo, Cruise Control, Continuum, Jenkins)
- Understanding of revision control and continuous integration best practices.
- Experience using an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details such as RT, JIRA, OTRS or Service Now
