Job Description:
- The person will be responsible for identification and definition of business needs and managing all sales activities within a defined geographical territory.
- Male / Female candidate with experience in Bio pharma, Clinical research and Life science Institutions will be preferred.
- Involve in complete sales cycle right from lead generation to closure of sales.
- Confident, hardcore sales professional with go getter attitude and good personality with proven record in IT sales.
- Takes responsibility for investigative work to determine requirements and specify effective business processes
- Building the business within the territory using a variety of sales techniques.
- Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales.
- Arranging meetings with potential customers and selling service offerings.
- Cold calling institutions within the territory and establishing needs.
- Putting together a list of target institutions within the area.
- Analysing competitor activities in the region and assessing opportunities for business development.
- Working to revenue targets and KPIs.
- Networking with businesses in the territory and building relationships.
- Putting together sales strategies to target large accounts.
- Keeping up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business.
- Strong communication and IT fluency.
- Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events.
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations.
