Job Description:
1. Understand the new requirements from development or implementation team
2. Come up with the effort estimation for the release items
3. Contributes to the development of test plans
4. Develop and execute test scenarios/cases for the requirements
5. Maintain and update the test scenarios/cases for regression and application changes
6. Document defects in defect tracking tool and track them to closure
7. Perform smoke, enhancement and regression testing for releases
8. Collate and publish test results and defect metrics for the releases
9. Deal with issues related to application/environment and escalate to lead / manager as appropriate
Required Skills:
1. Basic knowledge on SQL/Unix
2. Working knowledge on some defect tracking tool, preferably ALM/Jira
3. Should be able understand contents of test plan and have basic knowledge on test planning/estimation/metrics
4. Team oriented and should have ability to collaborate effectively with team
5. Knowledge in automation concepts and tool
6. Knowledge of the FX/MM/FI market and products is very desirable
